We completely understand! Stepping into a new environment with new people is a big adventure. Our experienced teachers are pros at creating a welcoming space; using special techniques to help gentle souls warm up to the class.
Sometimes, having a parent join in the fun helps break the ice, while for others, some quiet time observing the class allows them to adjust at their own pace. We’ll work together to ensure they feel comfortable and confident to shine!
WHY SHOULD WE ATTEND A DISCOVERY WEEK? CAN’T WE JUST ATTEND AT ANY TIME?
At Future Gems, we believe every student deserves to feel welcomed, supported, and celebrated from the moment they walk into the studio. By offering dedicated Discovery Weeks, we can ensure our new students receive focused attention and a warm introduction to our classes. It also helps minimise disruption for our current students, allowing everyone to thrive in a consistent and nurturing environment. This approach ensures a smoother transition for your child while maintaining the magic and flow of our classes for all!
IS THERE A COST TO THE MINI TASTER SESSION?
Not at all! At the start of the year, we love to provide families with the opportunity to experience our classes free of charge. This is a special offer, as we don’t typically provide free trials—making it the perfect chance to immerse yourself in the magic of Future Gems and see why our studio is so special!
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR FOR THEIR FIRST CLASS?
Comfort is key! Leggings, t-shirts and sneakers are perfect! If they decide to dance with us reguarly, they will receive a special purple tutu (or t-shirt for our boys and Sapphire level up) to add to the magic! On the day, we will be able to assist with any additional uniform needs.
