Recital Reimagined – Online Dance Concert at Hornsby Studio

SO…THIS IS HOW WE ARE GOING TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN
We are determined to give our students & families a memorable ending to this very special dancing year. You certainly have all earned it! So, we have gotten creative and are thrilled to present 𝓡𝓮𝓬𝓲𝓽𝓪𝓵 𝓡𝓮𝓲𝓶𝓪𝓰𝓲𝓷𝓮𝓭… A concert experience like no other!
YES, we are having a performance at the end of this year but it won’t be the same as our traditional concerts. Even though we all love them (and look forward to many more with you all in the future)… We are actually super pumped to explore an exciting new way to showcase our dancers and create something that we will all remember for many years to come.
In order to adhere to the current restrictions on numbers attending any gathering, we will be unable to have anyone physically in the audience. However, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered so you won’t miss out on seeing your child’s performance. We will be having a professional film crew capturing our amazing dancers and you ALL receive a copy of this to keep.
DATES & TIMES INFORMATION
On Saturday the 21st November, each and every one one of our dancers are going to have the opportunity to be a movie star at our 2020 Recital Reimagined filming day!
Each age group will be given specific times to be dropped off and then picked up by their parent/carer. The following times are still to be 100% confirmed, but here are the proposed times for each age group because we know it helps our families to have this information as soon as possible. We will send out specific call times for each class, in coming weeks.
Mini & Topaz Stars (Purple & Yellow on timetable): 10:30 – 12:00pm
Sapphire & Ruby Stars (Blue & Pink on timetable) 12:30-3:00pm
Bronze & Silver Squad (Grey on timetable) 3:00-3:45pm
If you are unsure which group your child’s class falls under, please be sure to email or call us well in advance. This way we can make sure your child is there at the appropriate time and doesn’t miss out on performing with their class.
VENUE DETAILS
Given the restrictions currently in place, our regular concert location was unavailable on our dates. However, after many calls to venues throughout the North Shore area, we are thrilled to be able to run our filming day at Berowra Community & Cultural Centre. We know your dancer’s will love being on the huge stage with the rainbow disco lights!

We are very lucky to be able to have this venue and so really have to ensure that we adhere to their strict guidelines. The two main guidelines we have to make sure to follow are;
- all students are to be dropped off and picked up at the allocated spot
- no adults (other than our staff) will be able to enter the Performing Arts Hall on our filming day
